Devin Duvernay dealing with thigh bruise

by Luke Monaldo | Jaguars Correspondent | Mon, Aug 1st 1:12pm EDT

Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay is dealing with a thigh bruise he suffered colliding with safety Chuck Clark on a deep pass but appears to have avoided major injury according to BaltimoreRavens.com's Clifton Brown. (Clifton Brown, BaltimoreRavens.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Duvernay was examined by trainers after taking a moment to get to his feet before being diagnosed with a thigh bruise. Raven head coach John Harbaugh said it was "nothing serious" and he could have returned to practice if necessary. Duvernay is the presumptive WR2 in Baltimore opposite Rashod Bateman but has trained this offseason focused on "earning" the position. Duvernay has an opportunity to absorb a decent portion of the targets vacated with the trade of Marquise Brown, especially deep balls, and mixed with his value as a kick returner could be a sleeper receiver to grab in the later rounds on Draft Day.
