Joshua Palmer quiet in first preseason game

Joshua Palmer saw four targets in the Los Angeles Chargers preseason matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, but failed to haul any of them in.
Fantasy Impact:
Palmer was targeted early by veteran quarterback Chase Daniel, but dropped a couple of catchable passes on his way to an uneventful evening. The second-year wideout has faced competition from Jalen Guyton for the third wide receiver spot alongside mainstays Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, but barring any setbacks, he should lock up that position. Palmer is better suited for daily fantasy and best ball formats or as a late-round flier in redraft leagues.
