Mecole Hardman's injury not serious, per report

by Andersen Pickard | Chiefs Correspondent | Thu, Aug 18th 9:13am EDT

Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman suffered a “groin injury and is doing okay," a source tells NFL insider Jordan Schultz. The injury is not believed to be serious, though Hardman was not on the field at the beginning of Wednesday's practice. (Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It looks like Hardman will be ready for Week 1 of the regular season, and we'll likely see him for at least one more preseason game, too. With Tyreek Hill in Miami, Hardman is competing to take over as Kansas City's top big-play threat this season. He finished as the WR50 in 2021, catching 59 passes for 693 yards and a pair of scores.
