49ers quarterback Trey Lance is unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings, head coach Kyle Shanahan told Matt Barrows of The Athletic. He added that the decision is not set in stone and could hinge on Lance's performance in practice on Thursday. (Matt Barrows on Twitter)
