Laquon Treadwell caught 1-of-2 targets for seven yards in Jacksonville’s 16-15 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Treadwell spent most of last season on Jacksonville’s practice squad, a sharp fall for the former first-round pick. Fantasy managers would have liked to have seen Treadwell do more this preseason, especially Saturday night to earn more playing time in new coach Doug Pederson’s offense. As it stands, he has Christian Kirk, Marvin Jones Jr., Zay Jones, and Laviska Shenault Jr. ahead of him and will likely struggle to see the field. Treadwell is best left to be another manager’s draft day mistake or hit the waiver wire. His first-round pedigree warrants keeping an eye on how he fits into this new look Jags offense before completely forgetting about him this season as he still has a chance to compete.
