Darrel Williams is rumored to be a surprise cut or trade candidate, per PFF. The Cardinals have been impressed by Eno Benjamin, Keaontay Ingram, and Jonathan Ward as solid backup options to James Conner. (PFF.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Williams is on a guaranteed $1.035 million contract that would not save the Cardinals much cap space if he was traded. Williams has only seen four snaps during the preseason, with Benjamin and Ingram seeing the bulk of the work. Williams is coming off a career year with Kansas City where he posted 558 yards and six touchdowns on 144 rushing attempts.
