Wilkerson was enjoying a solid training camp before a hit from Panthers safety Kenny Robinson put him in the hospital during joining practices. He suffered a concussion on the play and hasn't suited up since. It looks like the unfortunate injury is going to cost Wilkerson his roster spot, though he's a top candidate to be added to the Patriots' practice squad once healthy. Final cuts will be made official on Tuesday afternoon.
