James Robinson (Achilles) could see significant workload Week 1

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said James Robinson will not be limited in Sunday’s Week 1 matchup against the Washington Commanders and could even see a significant workload according to ESPN.com’s Michael DiRocco. (Michael DiRocco, ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Robinson is less than nine months removed from suffering a torn left Achilles tendon which is an incredible recovery time. If Robinson does see significant snaps in Week 1, it will definitely eat into Travis Etienne Jr.’s ceiling and likely make rookie Snoop Conner irrelevant for fantasy purposes. This development comes as good news for fantasy managers who took a flier on Robinson but bad news for those that drafted Etienne expecting him to be the bell cow back in Jacksonville. Only once the dust settles after Week 1 will we have a better idea of how the touches will be divided going forward.
