Bills' defense dominates in season debut

by Sammy Schulman | Bills Correspondent | Fri, Sep 9th 12:41am EDT

The Bills' defense allowed only 10 points while forcing three turnovers, and sacking Matthew Stafford seven times.

Fantasy Impact:

The Bills picked up right where they left off a season ago when they led the league in the fewest yards allowed and also allowed the fewest points. Von Miller's presence was immediately felt as he sacked his former teammate twice. The run defense was phenomenal holding the Rams to only 2.9 yards per carry, while also holding every Rams' receiver, outside of Cooper Kupp, relatively quiet. If there is any unit that may be matchup-proof in fantasy football in 2022, the Bills' are the most likely candidate. They should be considered a prime option for fantasy managers next week against the post-A.J. Brown Titans.
