Jacoby Brissett completed 18 of his 34 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown in a 26-24 win over the Panthers in Week 1. He added 10 rushing yards on four carries in the win.
Fantasy Impact:
Brissett played mistake-free football in his Cleveland debut, although he struggled with his passing efficiency in the win, instead leaning on the running game to move the chains. Brissett's lone touchdown pass was a one-yard score to Kareem Hunt early in the second quarter. As expected, Cleveland will lean on their elite running game while Brissett is filling in for the suspended Deshaun Watson. Treat Brissett as a high-end QB3 in Week 2 against the Jets.
