According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, TE Jonnu Smith of the New England Patriots is being called week-to-week with a low-ankle sprain. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Smith left Sunday's game prematurely with an ankle injury and got tests done on it, revealing a low-ankle sprain. This most likely means Smith will miss at least a week or two, ushering TE Hunter Henry back into the full-time TE role, as New England doesn't have a very deep well at the position like in 2021. Smith has caught seven passes for 58 yards so far this season.
