Garrett Wilson finds end zone twice in Week 12 win

by Luke Monaldo | Jets Correspondent | Sun, Nov 27th 5:12pm EST

Garrett Wilson caught 5-of-8 targets for 95 yards and two touchdowns while rushing once for minus one yard in New York’s 31-10 win over the Bears in Week 12.

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson showed instant chemistry with new starter Mike White, hauling amassing 95 yards and scoring twice, including a 54-yard catch and run for a touchdown that put the Jets up for good and showcased the moves that made Wilson the #10 pick in the Draft. Wilson has now topped 92 yards three times in the last four games and doubled his season touchdown total on Sunday. In seven games with Zach Wilson under center, Wilson has caught 26-of-38 targets for 319 yards and zero touchdowns. In just four games with Joe Flacco and Mike White slinging the ball, Wilson has caught 23-of-41 targets for 309 yards and four touchdowns. Those numbers are a huge indictment of Zach Wilson as an NFL quarterback and after this win, I doubt anyone in the receiver room is clamoring for ZW the become the starter again any time soon. If Wilson is somehow on waivers in your league, find room on your roster because he could be a league winner down the stretch if White continues to start.
