Ty Johnson rushed for three yards on one carry and caught 6-of-7 targets for an additional 38 yards in New York’s 27-22 loss to the Vikings in Week 13.
Ty Johnson was irrelevant rushing in Week 13 but he was second on the team in receptions behind only rookie stud Garrett Wilson. The Jets are using a running back by committee approach but Zonovan Knight is the lead back for rushing purposes. Johnson is a desperation move by fantasy managers, with his limited ceiling and basement-level floor, but with six teams on byes in Week 14, there may not be many other options on the waiver wire. Runningback continues to be a war of attrition, both in reality and in the fantasy world, this season and desperate times call for desperate measures.
