Brett Rypien game manages Broncos to win in spot start

by Dan Tursky | Bears Correspondent | Sun, Dec 18th 9:49pm EST

Brett Rypien completed 21-of-29 passes for 197 yards, one touchdown, and one interception as Denver held off the Cardinals for a 24-15 victory in Week 15.

Fantasy Impact:

For the majority of the afternoon Rypien took what the Arizona defense gave him, and he did enough to send the Broncos home with a rare win. His longest pass of the day went for just 19 yards in the outing, and the 3rd-year slinger out of Boise State absorbed a hefty seven sacks overall. Rypien will likely head back to the bench if Russell Wilson is good to go next week, though the former may actually be the better option at this point.
