Dalton Schultz inks three-year deal with Texans

The Houston Texans and TE Dalton Schultz have reached terms on a three-year, $36 million deal ($23.5 million guaranteed) to keep the veteran TE paired with QB C.J. Stroud. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With Stroud's emergence, the name of the game for Houston is to build around him, and that includes giving him weapons to work with. Schultz was productive during his years with Dallas, and after he didn't have the strongest market in 2023, his one-year deal with Houston proved to be worth it, turning into a $12 million-per-year contract. He finished 2023 as the half-PPR TE11.
