Fantasy Impact:

While the Ravens organization has not yet officially commented on the nature of Jernigan's injury, it becomes concerning in the context of the young player's history -- he missed four games in 2014 with knee trouble and did not participate in much of fall camp this year. His path to a starting position and high snap volume is clear with Haloti Ngata in Detroit, and Jernigan has proven himself an effective, disruptive player when given the chance, which makes these injuries somewhat frustrating from a fantasy perspective. IDP owners are probably best served taking a wait-and-see approach when it comes to Jernigan; he's a stash-worthy player until he strings together multiple healthy games during the regular season.
