Patriots claim DaVaris Daniels off of waivers

The New England Patriots claimed wide receiver DaVaris Daniels on waivers from the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, as he addresses a position on the roster that has been affected by a string of injuries and needed a numbers boost with the preseason finale in mind. (ESPN Boston)
Fantasy Impact:
DaVaris Daniels signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent this year and saw very little action with them as he totaled one catch in three games. He had a good career at Notre Dame but right now is looking more like added depth for the rest of the preseason rather than someone the Patriots are looking to make part of their offense.
