Stevan Ridley likely to open season on PUP list

Jets RB Stevan Ridley is expected to open the regular season on the physically unable to perform list. The veteran has yet to practice this preseason has he continues to recover from knee surgery. If does start on the PUP list, he would be required to miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
The Jets' backfield doesn't appear to offer much in the way of fantasy value this season. Chris Ivory is the only current player that's worthy of a roster spot. Ridley's injury means that Zac Stacy is likely to make the cut, more by default than his performance.
