Eagles cut Tim Tebow

After Matt Barkley got traded to the Arizona cardinals, it appeared Tim Tebow would make the Eagles as the number three quarterback. Despite a strong final preseason game, the Eagles cut Tebow. Coach Chip Kelly said Tebow has improved, but needs playing time and is not ready to be on the Eagles roster at this time. Tebow finished preseason completing 21-of-36 passes for 283 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. (CSNPhilly.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles are currently going with two quarterbacks, but they will likely add another quarterback before the season opener. It's uncertain at this time whether or not Tebow will look to sign elsewhere.
