Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels is listed as the team’s starting QB on the first unofficial depth chart. Daniels had high expectations coming into camp, “but he has surpassed those,” said HC Dan Quinn. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

It comes to no surprise that the team’s decision is to start the No. 2 overall pick out of LSU, but the notable buzz here is how he has more than impressed everyone thus far at training camp. He will play in his first preseason game this Saturday against the Jets.
