Bryce Young disappoints in loss to Chargers
by Garrett Ball | Panthers Correspondent | Sun, Sep 15th 8:01pm EDT
Bryce Young completed 18-of-26 passes for 84 yards with no touchdowns and a pick in the Panthers' 26-3 loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
If there is any bright side to be found, it's that Young was accurate. But even then most of his passes were close to or even behind the line of scrimmage. He didn't push the ball downfield and looked unable to do so. Young doesn't appear to have what it takes to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, but the Panthers are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Keep losing with Young for a try at the top pick, or start someone else to win but lose out on that potential draft slot? It's not looking good for Young and the franchise.
