Fantasy Impact:
Dalton has the ability to make Carolina Panthers fantasy relevant again, but keep in mind he is a 36-year-old pocket quarterback. In his lone start with the Panthers last season, Dalton finished as the QB7 overall with two touchdowns, 58 pass attempts, and 361 passing yards—an outlier performance, in other words. In 2022, with the New Orleans Saints, Dalton started from Week 4 to Week 18 and averaged 13.1 fantasy points per game, which is a more accurate reflection of his fantasy production. Diontae Johnson, Xavier Legette, and Adam Thielen should benefit as pass catchers. Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders may offer a slight boost in fantasy production, but not enough to fully trust them.
