Travaris Cadet gets released by Patriots

Travaris Cadet was released by the Patriots on Tuesday, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports. Cadet was a healthy scratch for Sunday's win over the Jaguars, and the Patriots ultimately decided to add another linebacker (Jon Bostic) over keeping a fifth running back. (Ben Volin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This was a bit of a surprising move but with Dion Lewis and James White playing well in the third down back role for the Patriots there was no room for Cadet. Look for Cadet to catch on with another team. He played well in the third down role last season for the Saints and can catch the ball as he caught 38 passes in limited time.
