Matthew Stafford: extending QB is Rams' 'first priority'
by Jordan Epp | Rams Correspondent | Fri, Feb 14th 12:08pm EST
The Los Angeles Rams' front office is "committed" to extending QB Matthew Stafford, says Adam Schefter of ESPN, and that is their "first priority" as Stafford trade rumors surface early this offseason. (Pat Leonard on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Schefter was non-exact when saying whether or not Stafford could be traded this offseason, but he said that the veteran QB has L.A.'s interest, and a trade would only be on the table if a deal can not be met. The trade rumors all remain speculative for now; until an impasse is insurmountable between Stafford (who is likely looking for more guarantees) and the Rams, Stafford will remain in Los Angeles.
