Cowboys to evaluate QB situation after Brandon Weeden's third loss

by Jen Ryan | Mon, Oct 12th 11:36am EDT

After losing a third straight game with quarterback Brandon Weeden, Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said he would evaluate the quarterback position during the team’s bye week. (USA Today)

Fantasy Impact:

Weeden lost three straight for the Dallas Cowboys but yesterday was his 11th straight loss in games he has started. With an extra week to learn the system and compete, Matt Cassel could start to see some first team reps. The Weeden led Cowboys continue to get off to slow starts and do not do enough of offense to win games. If the Cowboys are going to make a quarterback switch the bye week would be the time to do it. Tony Romo won't be on the field until the end of November at the earliest. A quarterback change could have a positive impact on the entire Dallas offense who are not producing quality fantasy points under Weeden.
