Jalen Royals signs rookie contract with Chiefs

The Chiefs signed fourth-round WR Jalen Royals to a four-year contract.
Fantasy Impact:
Royals is expected to compete for an immediate depth role behind Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown. He is unlikely to hold a big immediate role, but he does hold long-term value in dynasty leagues and could be a player to monitor on the waiver wire in redraft this season.
