Ollie Gordon II limited in minimal rushing role

by Paul Brenton | Dolphins Correspondent | Mon, Oct 6th 6:26am EDT

Ollie Gordon II logged 3 carries for −2 yards in the Miami Dolphins’ 27–24 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He was not targeted in the passing game.

Fantasy Impact:

Ollie Gordon II played a limited role behind De’Von Achane, finishing with negative rushing yardage on three attempts and no receiving involvement. The light usage follows a mixed start to the season in which he’s seen sporadic touches, including 9 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown at Buffalo (Sep 18) and 6 carries for 10 yards versus the Jets (Sep 29). His pass-game work has been minimal to date (2 receptions for 4 yards across Weeks 1–3, none since). Gordon has contingent value in all formats if the role expands or if Achane misses time.
