Miami Dolphins’ defense give up 239 rushing yards
by Paul Brenton | Dolphins Correspondent | Mon, Oct 6th 6:31am EDT
Miami’s defense recorded three sacks and one interception but allowed 239 rushing yards and 27 points. Malik Washington added 98 kickoff return yards and 29 punt return yards.
Fantasy Impact:
The Miami Dolphins defense and special teams generated some plays (three sacks; Minkah Fitzpatrick’s interception for seven yards) but was overwhelmed by the Panthers’ run game. Surrendering 239 rushing yards and the late go-ahead drive capped the fantasy output. Washington’s return work (& Dee Eskridge, 24 yard punt return) provided special teams yardage, but the unit remains matchup-dependent until the run defense tightens.
