Rhamondre Stevenson finds end zone twice, fumbles again

by Bruno Mulé | Patriots Correspondent | Mon, Oct 6th 10:26am EDT

Rhamondre Stevenson scored two touchdowns but was otherwise held in check during Sunday's 23-20 win over the Bills, totaling 27 yards on nine touches. The veteran's day was also marred by a lost fumble, his third in the last three games.

Fantasy Impact:

Stevenson's two touchdowns saved his fantasy day, but his ball security remains a major issue. He has now lost a fumble in three straight games. While he is currently operating as the team's preferred goal-line back, the coaching staff may start to lean more heavily on TreVeyon Henderson if the fumbles continue (Antonio Gibson, another RB who had been receiving touches, was placed on injured reserve this week). This makes Stevenson a volatile, touchdown-dependent fantasy option whose role could be in jeopardy.
