Jalen Coker to have practice window opened Wednesday

The Carolina Panthers are preparing to open wide receiver Jalen Coker's 21-day practice window on Wednesday, Oct. 8, as he prepares to return from a quad injury. (Joe Person on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Coker was placed on injured reserve before the start of the season and has missed the first five games. This move opened the door for Carolina to re-sign veteran WR Hunter Renfrow, who has 14 catches for 82 yards and two scores in his stead. Coker was set to be the team's starting slot receiver, a role Renfrow has settled into. However, aside from an explosive Week 2 performance against Arizona, Renfrow has not been very impactful. Coker should have an immediate role after impressing late last season as a UDFA.
