Terry McLaurin: Commanders 'optimistic' for Week 6

by Jordan Epp | Commanders Correspondent | Mon, Oct 6th 4:01pm EDT

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said the team was "optimistic" that wide receiver Terry McLaurin could return in Week 6 after missing two games with a quad injury. (Ben Standig on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

McLaurin has recorded six straight DNPs, leaving little room for expectations heading into Weeks 4 and 5. However, Quinn expressed his optimism in his wide receiver's status. It remains to be seen to what degree he practices this week, but Deebo Samuel Sr. should continue to be a strong option with or without McLaurin, who has not returned to form yet this season after a protracted contract debacle over the offseason.
