Texans part ways with Arian Foster

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Houston Texans have released Arian Foster. Foster spent seven seasons with Houston. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Arian Foster's release comes as expected though it was rumored to have nothing to do with the money aspect of Foster, however, stability at the running back position for Houston could have played a role in the transaction. Foster only played in four games in 2015 and missed 23 games over the past three years. The injury-prone back will attempt to catch on with another organization this offseason. If healthy, Foster could still be a viable fantasy running back depending on his role this upcoming season.
