Josh Norman to visit Redskins on Friday

Just two days after the Panthers annulled the franchise tag they placed on CB Josh Norman, the Pro Bowl defensive back is now scheduled to visit the Washington Redskins on Friday. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
The 49ers are also in the mix for Norman, who is expected to acquire somewhere between $14-15 million per season over a five-year contract. Both the Redskins and 49ers plan to offer Norman five-year deals. The Redskins only have $11.4 million in cap space, which wouldn't be enough to sign him. The 49ers' $53 million in cap space makes them the immediate favorite to sign Norman based on their financial flexibility alone.
