Fantasy Impact:

The Jets took a blow to their defensive unit on Thursday as Sheldon Richardson was suspended for the first game of the regular season by the NFL. Richardson is an up and coming player on New york's line who is coming off of a solid year in 2015 despite only appearing in 11 contests. He finished the season with 35 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass deflections, but was on pace to blow away his career high if he played a full 16 game slate. The Jets D/ST should be considered a matchup-based play for the upcoming fantasy football campaign.
