Tyler Boyd likely to play the slot in 2016

Geoff Hobson of the official website of the Cincinnati Bengals expects rookie WR Tyler Boyd to be the team's slot receiver in 2016 "no matter what." (The Official Website of the Cincinnati Bengals)

Fantasy Impact:

Tyler Boyd will likely be Cincinnati's slot receiver in 2016. The second-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft showcased his abilities and impressed during the minicamp portion of the offseason and will enter training camp assuming the same role in preparation for the season opener in September. Despite being expected to see playing time as a rookie, Cincinnati has Tyler Eifert, A.J. Green, and Brandon LaFell ahead of Boyd for targets in the upcoming campaign. Boyd should be on the cusp of the fantasy radar and should be considered a very deep sleeper barring unforeseen circumstances to the players ahead of him.
