E.J. Manuel is expected to enter the season as Tyrod Taylor's primary backup. Rookie Cardale Jones hasn't shown enough to push Manuel for the backup role. (WXBW.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Jones carries more upside long-term, but he was expected to be a project out of college, and that's certainly been the case for the rookie. Things could change during training camp and the preseason, but it was the team's plan for Jones to take at least a year to learn behind the two veterans.
