Tyler Eifert officially listed on the PUP list

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert will officially start training camp on the PUP list. Eifert is coming off an off-season ankle injury that required surgery. There still isn't any timetable for how long Eifert will be out for, but it doesn’t look like he will be placed on the PUP to start the season. Eifert still isn’t a guarantee to start week 1. Fantasy Impact:

When healthy, Tyler Eifert is one of the best TEs in fantasy football. Last season, Eifert scored 13 TDs in only 13 games played. The problem is, Eifert is prone to injuries. In 2014 Eifert suffered an elbow injury in week one which cost him the entire season. Last season, Eifert suffered a concussion and a neck injury, which cost him three games and a majority of two other games. Now Eifert is recovering from an ankle injury. This could be good news for drafters, if healthy, Eifert would be one of the top five TEs drafted, I would personally rank him third behind Rob Gronkowski and Jordan Reed. If Eifert isn’t officially cleared for week 1, he may drop way down into the late rounds of the draft. If you’re willing to wait a week or two and gamble on an injury prone player, you may just get a steal at the bottom of your draft.
