DeMarcus Ware to be medically 'cleared' on Friday

by Anthony Cervino | Thu, Jul 28th 3:47pm EDT

Denver Broncos beat writer Troy Renck is reporting that head coach Gary Kubiak said DeMarcus Ware (back) is expected to be medically "cleared" to practice on Friday but he the pass rusher will not work out with the team. The Broncos will take the "cautious" approach to easing Ware back to football activities. (Troy Renck on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Denver finished the 2015 season with the top ranked D/ST in fantasy football with 187 points and an 11.7 FPPG average over 16 contests. The Broncos have the staples of their Super Bowl winning defense returning in 2016 with talent that includes DeMarcus Ware, Von Miller, T.J. Ward and Aqib Talib, which bodes well for their outlook in the upcoming season. For fantasy football purposes, Denver's D/ST should once again carry the Broncos in 2016 and should be a force towards opposing offenses. Their D/ST could very well finish atop of the fantasy rankings once again come year's end.
