Ladarius Green eager to play in Pittsburgh's offense

In a recent interview on Steelers.com, newly-signed TE Ladarius Green made it clear that he is eager to get up to speed with Pittsburgh's offense after missing the off-season program due to ankle surgery. Green said, “It’s a high-speed offense. I love the team, great guys, great coaching. It’s winning football.” (Steelers.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Since signing a contract with the Steelers for 2-year / $20 million in March, Green underwent surgery for an ankle issue that supposedly occurred late last season. Apparently, there have been no setbacks for Green, and he's looking forward to training camp in hopes of becoming a major weapon for Ben Roethlisberger in 2016. With Le'Veon Bell suspended four games, Martavis Bryant banned for the season, and Heath Miller recently retiring, Green is set up for early fantasy football success if his ankle cooperates. Annually hindered by Antonio Gates' presence, the super-athletic Green is finally set to see a large number of snaps in perhaps the NFL's most dynamic offense. His current ADP of TE9 is a reasonable starting point, but don't be surprised if Green is even better than that in 2016.
