New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles spoke to the media on Thursday on Ryan Fitzpatrick's status as the team's starting quarterback in 2016. "It's his job," Bowles said. (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Ryan Fitzpatrick finally signed a deal with the New York Jets on Wednesday shortly after the team set an unofficial deadline, or move on scenario for the disgruntled passer. The 11-year veteran is coming off of his best statistical season as a pro in 2015. He finished the year as the 11th ranked quarterback in fantasy points scored with 285.1 and averaged 17.8 FPPG over a 16 game span. Now that Fitzpatrick is back under center for the Jets, he should be viewed as a low-end QB1/QB2 in the upcoming fantasy football campaign who is entering his second year in the system and could have a similar or better season than he did in 2015.
