Damien Williams placed on the PUP list

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Miami Dolphins have placed RB Damien Williams on the PUP list for an undisclosed injury. Williams made the Dolphins roster as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Oklahoma in 2014. Since coming to the Dolphins, Williams hasn’t missed a game and has primarily been used in passing situations. (Miami Herald )
Fantasy Impact:
With both Williams and RB Arian Foster on the PUP list, second-year RB Jay Ajayi and rookie Kenyan Drake will have an early opportunity to impress coaches and solidify a spot on the 53 man roster. I would still expect the Dolphins to keep all four RBs. Most likely, the Dolphins split snaps between Ajayi and Foster and use Drake and Williams in third down situations and on Special Teams.
