Giovani Bernard quiet in second preseason contest

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard tallied two yards rushing off of two carries in Thursday night's preseason contest against the Detroit Lions. He also caught his only target for six yards in the matchup.

Bernard was quiet in Thursday night's preseason game against the Detriot Lions. Bernard will enter the season as Jeremy Hill's primary handcuff for fantasy football purposes and is a solid mid-round selection in the draft. Despite being the No. 2 rusher on the depth chart, Bernard receives an ample amount of action during the regular season, especially in the passing game. Bernard is a strong asset in PPR scoring formats as he caught 49 targets for 472 yards in 2015.
