James White secure in pass-catching role

ESPN New England Patriots reporter Mike Reiss believes Bill Belichick will place Dion Lewis on PUP to open the season. If this does occur then Lewis will miss at least the first six games of the season and James White will fill in like he did last season. Now that the Patriots know Lewis will need a second surgery, look for Jimmy Garoppolo to build more chemistry with White these last two games of the preseason. (source)
Fantasy Impact:
Lewis tore his ACL in Week 9 and from Week 10-17 as the primary receiving back, White finished as the RB7 in PPR leagues. White's ADP should rise to the middle rounds in drafts as he should be going as a solid RB2 in PPR format.
