Byron Maxwell welcomes challenge of Julio Jones

by Reginald James | Tue, Aug 23rd 7:13pm EDT

The Dolphins traded for Byron Maxwell to face the top receivers of the opposition each week. Dez Bryant pretty much had his way with Maxwell last Friday. This week he takes on Julio Jones. “It’s great,” Maxwell said. “I had Dez, I have Julio. Those are what you want preparing you for the season. Those are two of the best in the league right there. It don’t get no better than that. The game speed, all of that, going against those guys, is going to help and going to be ready for Week 1.” (Dolphins.com)

Fantasy Impact:

It's great he feels that way because the Dolphins need him to be the player from Seattle that made the Eagles think he was worth a six-year contract of $63 million, with $25 million guaranteed. He didn't live up to that contract, so they dumped him on the Dolphins. Eagles are looking pretty smart so far. Stay tuned.
