Carlos Hyde suffers concussion against Packers

The running back busted loose for a 27-yard gain setting up WR Quinton Patton's three-yard rushing score the next play. Hyde finished with four rushes for 30 yards before exiting with a concussion in the second quarter.
Fantasy Impact:
The Ohio State product will be placed into the NFL's Concussion Protocol and has 15 days to pass in order to suit up Week 1 on Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams. For fantasy owners, they painfully hope the 49ers bellcow runner can shake off the brain injury in time for the upcoming season. He is primed to be the fixture of an otherwise uninspiring offense under new head coach Chip Kelly.
