Tyler Ervin works as the Texans backup running back

Tyler Ervin carried the ball twice for 13 yards, also adding one reception for 20 yards. He worked second with the Texans first team offense after Lamar Miller.
Fantasy Impact:
Although he did not have a big impact in this preseason game, it is notable nonetheless due to the fact that he appears to have taken over as the Texans backup running back. If you are into handcuffing your starters it appears as though Tyler Ervin is the running back to own and not Alfred Blue.
