Antonio Brown restructures contract, increases 2016 salary by $4M

by Alexander Onushco | Wed, Aug 31st 11:07am EDT

The Pittsburgh Steelers and wide receiver Antonio Brown have agreed on a restructured contract which moves $4 million of Brown's 2017 salary to this year. (Pro Football Talk)

Fantasy Impact:

Brown is now slated to make $10 million this year, and it is well-deserved. In fact, he should likely be getting paid more, but this is a good compromise between an underpaid superstar and a team that typically refuses to address contract situations before the contract is up. His contract still goes through 2017, but expect Brown to receive a bigger, better contract at the end of this season. Brown is a locked-in elite WR1 in all fantasy formats.
