Stephen Anderson a non-factor on Thursday night

Stephen Anderson was held off the stat sheet in the Texans 27-0 defeat against the Patriots on Thursday Night Football.

Fantasy Impact:

The exciting rookie tight end out of Cal had received 17, and 32% of the tight end snaps, while hauling in 5-of-6 targets for 40 yards in his first two games, but was held off the field for the majority of the second half in this one. Before the game was out of reach in the first half, PFF's Nathan Jahnke had the Texans tight end snap count at 21 for C.J. Fiedorowicz, 18 for Ryan Griffin, and 11 for Anderson, with Griffin receiving the majority of the work in the second half. Anderson is still an intriguing option in keeper/dynasty leagues as a high-upside stash, and will continue to see his role increase steadily as the season goes on.
