Theo Riddick carried the ball 10 times for 9 yards against Green Bay and caught 7 of 9 targets for 39 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
In Ameer Abdullah's absence, Riddick served as the Lions' lead running back for the first half of the game but found very little room to operate against an inspired Green Bay front seven. He found some success in the short passing game, as we've come to expect, and was inches short of the goal line on a nifty 5-yard grab early in the third quarter. It's looking like Riddick won't see continued emphasis in the ground game, as rookie Dwayne Washington took over rushing duties in the third quarter and managed 3.8 yards per carry to Riddick's .9 yard per carry mark. That said, this talented pass-catching back will continue to put up flex level production through the air with the occasional touchdown giving him RB2 upside.
