Ezekiel Elliott runs (and hurdles) his way to 160 total yards against Bears

by Blake Glosson | Patriots Correspondent | Sun, Sep 25th 11:42pm EDT

Ezekiel Elliott had 30 carries for 140 yards (4.7 YPC) and two catches for 20 yards in the Cowboys' 31-17 win over the Bears on Sunday night.

Fantasy Impact:

The good news: GM Jerry Jones wasn't kidding about continuing to feed the rookie, as 'Zeke got 20+ touches for the third straight game, including a season-high 30 carries. The slightly disappointing news: Dallas had three rushing touchdowns from inside the five yard line—and none of those went to Elliott. Dak Prescott, Alfred Morris, and Lance Dunbar were the beneficiaries of these scores. Despite the TDs vultured from Elliott this season, he's still been a top-five fantasy RB, and he hasn't even broken off a rush of longer than 21 yards yet. As long as the highly-talented RB is getting 20-25 touches per game behind the 'Boys strong offensive line, he remains a high floor, huge ceiling RB1 on a weekly basis. Next up: a 49ers defense that allowed 100+ rushing yards and 2 TD to Christine Michael in Week 3. Keep riding Eazy E with confidence.
